Touch is therapeutic and it is a natural instinct we are born with. Massage Therapy is a very old healing therapy using touch to help soothe, relax, invigorate and stimulate our muscles and joints. It also bind organs together, holding them in place while permitting others to slide smoothly over each other. It is made up of collagen which ideally should be translucent. This allows our muscle fibers to slide back and forth over each other like sliding doors so that our muscles can contract and extend, so that our body continues giving us the daily luxury of being able to stand, sit, dance, and walk and so on easily, with no limitations and pain free. It is very advisable to take care of our fascia by regular massage.
Lavender is a multi-season green bush that grows to approximately one meter and has bluish/purplish flowers. The word Lavender comes from the word LAVERA which means to cleanse, the Romans loved lavender and used it in their baths. The English used to sprinkle lavender sprigs on their floors, so when trodden on it would release a divine scent in their homes.
